Request For Submissions Store CSV Editor Version 1.1
I’m seeking suggestions for the new version of the Store CSV Editor, due out in February 2010.
This is my current list
- Providing better update facilities including a ‘bulk’ update for some items such as prices and captions.
- I also currently insert new rows at the end, so I’m thinking of an ‘insert in place’ feature.
- I’m also thinking of a grid viewer so that the user can browse and edit.
- The interface is changing slightly as I backport some features from a new database based product that I’m working on. This will give me the ability to search on any field.
- I’m also thinking of an option for images to use the value of an image column rather than the Id
